I am inviting a local photographer to the wedding but I also would like for her to be our wedding photographer. So how would we work out her compensation? Do we pay for her room or do we just pay her what she usually charges? Has anyone ever brought their own photographer from home and if so how were they compensated?

Im working with a hometown photographer as well. Most of them wanted travel expenses + compensation. Our photographer agreed to shoot our wedding and we are just paying for her travel costs (air, room, transfers) for 3 or 4 nights. We plan to give her something extra through.. just not sure how much.
