Dreams Riviera Cancun 2015 Brides

Recommended Posts

@@smileitseb the sparklers are provided by the resort.  $3/each for large and $2/each for small --- I am just going with the large since we have a smaller group.   Once it's all done I will do a recap of everything too!

Yay! We were assigned Maira Gomez for our wedding planner! I received an email with the Budget Planner Form, Guest List & Seating Chart, Budget Planner, and our confirmation letter. However, I did not receive the Links Catalog. Do yall know if there is a place either on this forum or elsewhere that I can get it? I don't want to start bombarding her with email already... Thanks!

so I have always said I'm getting the Dreams of Love package but now looking at the Dreams Ultimate package, I'm thinking I should go with that one instead. I could have sworn the DOL package came with open bar for the reception for 20 guests but now I'm not seeing that on the website. I will have to check my paperwork. But overall with the differences between the 2 packages, the Ultimate package seems like the better choice now. It's just weird I didn't feel that way when I reserved the wedding a year ago.

Hi all!!!  Recently got engaged this October and in the preliminary stages of planning the Wedding!  I'm so excited for this site and thank you all for all of your insight I've reviewed thus far.

We're 99.9% booking Dreams Riviera Cancun in November and would love to hear from you!  Wish you all HAPPY PLANNING! :)

Quick question - How many months before did you start dress shopping?

Cory

I just got even more excited for sparklers!! Thank you for posting that.  Do they offer fireworks as well?

@@Brod63 congrats girlie!!! For my Feb 23 wedding, I got my dress in early June and it came in November. My fittings start this Monday.

DRC will allow sparklers as long as you're not in the Seaside Grille (like me...wahhhh) and they only have small cold fireworks. No resort along the Riviera Maya will allow fireworks anymore from what I've heard because the beach/reef is protected. DRC will not allow fake petals either (and will charge you $220 for the real ones!).

@@calgarybride2015 USD! Plus 16% tax

I truly hate to say this, but that is highway robbery!

How do they get off?

I was worried about sales tax but I emailed and was told all their prices include tax, so that is one email I will definitely print and bring with me!!!
