Yay! Congrats on deciding on a DW!

 

I have always wanted to elope. FI wanted a wedding. So we compromised on a DW.

 

We picked Punta Cana because nobody had ever been there (we're giving our guests an experience) and the pricing was great.

 

I love that we're having four days of festivities with our loved ones. I can't wait!!

I feel the same exact way about family NOT being able to come because of their budgets. But this is something my soon to be husband said to me. "In the end it is going to be OUR wedding, and OUR dream...yes we love our family and want them to be there but we should do something together that both of us will love." Aside of having to pay for our parents all the others will have to make the decision on coming.

 

Picking a place has been thus far the hardest part of my planning. Everything else is easier in my opinion. Good luck, im right there with ya!

@@malyna....I am so glad you decided on a venue.....I still am not sure between Secrets and Royalton White Sands (Montego Bay Jamaica).  I did a site visit with Secrets last year and I am going to Jamaica in June to do a visit with Royalton White Sands and I hope to go to Secrets again.  I really need to make a decision and get this show on the road!!!
