If you're getting married in Punta Cana and want more of a private ceremony and reception then look into the Jellyfish restaurant, Kukua Restuarant Beach Club, and Huracan Cafe. I've been to a wedding at the Jellyfish, and it was GORGEOUS!! My fiancé and I are getting married at Kukua. We and our guests are staying at Now Larimar. Patty Jordan and her daughter Kristen with Wright Travel have been AMAZING to work with!!! Our guests have had nothing but wonderful things to say about their experiences with booking travel through Patty & Kristen.

I'm an April 2016 Bride. I visited the Sanctuary Cap Cana and place a hold on my date. Loved the place! Unfortunately, I am having a difficult time with the Sanctuary's response time to my questions. Does anyone know if they provide negotiated prices? I am trying to block my rooms, 20-30, but they are slow (3 weeks). Has anyone used a travel planner to assist with room reservations?

I am a November 2015 Sanctuary bride. Dalilpino, to answer your question, they did not seem willing to negotiate any pricing with me. I wanted to remove things from the Bliss package to lower the price, and they said that would not be an option. I also had a lot of trouble getting timely responses from Hector when I was sending my initial emails. Truthfully, he was terrible to deal with for many reasons... But the property has hired on a new wedding planner who used to work at Paradisus & she seems very good!   =)

 

You can book a room block directly through the hotel, or you can also use a travel agent. The rates were pretty comparable with both, so I decided to use a travel agent so that my guests could take advantage of the payment plan. My TA is Cindy Lorenz. Her email is [email protected]
