Recommendations Of Travel Agents In Halifax, Ns?

Hi Halifax Brides,

Has anyone had a good experience with a travel agent? I'm planning a March 2015 wedding in Punta Cana with groups flying out of Halifax and Toronto. Looking for a recommendation of a travel agent that has some experience planning weddings for larger groups (75-100 guests).

Many of the past brides I've talked to around here have had negative experiences with their travel agents.

I am getting married March 2015 in Punta Cana and I'm using Patty from Wright Travel ( the travel agency associated with this site). Patty has been beyond helpful and I would recommend using her! The only downside is that she is on the West coast so sometimes there is a delay in responses, and it is mainly email communication. If you are ok with that I would go to:

http://www.wrighttravelagency.com/destination-weddings and fill out the form. You get a travel agent based on the location you choose.

I am also from Halifax and our wedding is book for May 8, 2015 and are travel agent is throught Travel Only, so far everything has been very prompt no complaints yet. Theres days when we email 20 times a day trying to to get things organized lol...what part of Halifax are you from? Have you picked a resort yet? Punta Cana is beautiful!

Hey!

We're also out of a Halifax, flying out April 28th/2015!

We're using Flight Centre, responses have been quick so far through the process... Learned quickly though that I was expecting them to have a ALL of the answers wedding wise that I was looking for, but really had to do our own research for the specifics...
