Boarding Pass Save The Date/invites

Hi!

Im new here, all the way from Australia but living in Ireland now.  This site is awesome.  I was hoping to get some ideas on templates and maybe some instructions on how to make a Boarding Pass Save the Date.  I haven't posted enough times to download what people have put on here :-(

Do I need particular software to create the invite?  Feel quite lost .. any help would be appreciated!!

Congrats and welcome to BDW! You didn't say much about when or where you're getting married, but I know you'll find tons of information and ideas that will help you out.

 

I don't know if you've heard of a site called "Vistaprint". It's quite popular with the brides on the site. They're at www.vistaprint.ca and they do ship internationally. Their prices are very reasonable and they are always running sales with discounts. I know right now they have something on where everything is ten dollars so it may be worth a look.

 

The other site I know a lot of the brides use is www.etsy.com  I believe there is somewhere on there that allows you to download templates, but there may be a cost invovled. Definitely worth a look. They have almost everything you can think of there - jewellery, veils, cake toppers, invites, flowers. It's all there.

 

I would also suggest that you do a search in the search bar at the top for whatever you're looking for and see what it brings up. I was just looking for the rack cards the other day and did it that way, and ended up with about half a dozen different ones to look at. Then I went onto vistaprint and voila! I now have "Do Not Disturb" rack cards!

 

I'm sure there will be other brides to be that will chime in along the way and pass on other tips!

You can pay for the right to download. That's what I did. I used Etsy Sproullie Designs for my save the dates. She was awesome.

Thanks ladies, both very helpful.  Wedding Date not until July 2015 but its in Thailand and want to give people in Ireland as much notice as possible.  Im on Maternity Leave at the moment so I thought I would make myself useful and attempt to make my own cards .. even getting together the shopping list of supplies I need seems difficult.  But that may just be the baby brain!
