Gifts For Parents

Just wondering if anyone had any cheap wedding gifts for our parents. They are not helping to pay for the wedding at all. Are we obligated to get them a gift? I would like to get them something little but I can't come up with any ideas.

I was just wondering about the same thing! I was thinking about getting a nice frame and putting a print of the entire family from the wedding. Then, I was going to include the Philosophy Thank You gift set for the moms. As for the dads, I'm a little bit more stuck.

A friend told me she's going to get everyone personalized handkerchiefs - it's not really my style, but it's a sweet idea and probably less expensive even than my suggestion.

@@liz24 @@jd0922 One of our recent brides did give her parents embroidered handkerchiefs and they LOVED them! She also gave one to her sister (appropriately embroidered with "No Ugly Crying"! lol)
