What Is Your Wedding Wow Factor Going To Be?

Recommended Posts

We all know that a destination wedding in and of itself has a 'wow' factor!  I know that weddings are about celebrating love and family, but I still want to give my guests a little bit of the wow factor to have them talking for years to come.  So far for me, it will be the churro cart, mariachi, and a few little surprises during the ceremony (personal ones that I don't want my guy to find out about beforehand)! What are yours?

My epic dance moves. :P

Not sure yet. I'm having a Mariachi band play for cocktail hour and to have them come out right after the ceremony is over behind everyone and surprise them :)

Besides that, still trying to figure things out with our wedding coordinator. A lot of people are having the churro cart but that's not really our thing, so maybe we can do something different? I was even debating having our late lunch be pizza ordered from Dominos in playa del carmen LOL!!

The views from the Beach Palace Sky Terrace =)

.... but really, I'm going to be following this thread to get some more ideas!

I wasn't originally planning on adding any Mexican-flare to my Cancun wedding but I'm starting to like the idea of adding some culture to the reception.... Or maybe the resort will even do some table-side drink/dessert prep/show for the right price?

We're having a cigar roller set up in a designated lounge area and hiring fire dancers!

Where are you getting the churro cart from?
