Hola!

I am newly engaged and my fiance and I are are getting married on February 21st, 2015! I was so overwhelmed at first with all of the different destinations and resorts to choose from, the more I looked the more confused I got! I finally just decided to take the plunge and chose Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico.

I am looking for anyone who has been to Moon Palace for a vacation or any fellow brides who have been married there or are going to be married there, any advice would be greatly appreciated! I am looking for any advice on ceremony set up, is it worth getting a specific wedding collection or just go for the complimentary package and customize it yourself. Also looking for advice on wedding reception and which extras are worth adding! All in all i'm just looking for anyone who has any good advice for me regarding weddings at Moon Palace! Thanks!!!

Congrats and welcome!! From everything I've read you've picked a beautiful resort!

If you use the search bar in the Forums tab with 'Moon Palace' you'll get several threads on the resort and can read through and see what other brides have experienced. As well, your site host Tammy and Wright Travel are holding a webinar next month on the Moon Palace resort, which would be a great time to get your questions answered right from a resort rep! But the spots full up fast so best sign up soon if you're interested!

Good luck and happy planning!

@mention Congrats!!!!!! I am really considering MP as well for our Spring 2015 wedding date. Still waiting on quotes. I did find the resort forum very very helpful from the brides that have got married there in the past. At least you have the resort booked (I am finding it the most stressful part)

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS thoegh!

Celebrating love is always good news  :)

Planning your wedding way in advance tells us that you are very organized and farsighted, keep on like that. You can make your dream of wedding come true. Moon Palace is a really good choice, we have had  georgeous ceremonies there and you could be blessed by a spectacular sunset on  the beach.

Good luck and Best Wishes planning your Big Day!

Welcome and congrats! I was married at Sun Palace in 2012 and stayed at Moon palace and had our rehersal dinner at Moon.  We did the complimentary packages for everything- couldn't justify spending thousand of dollars on decorations for a 20 min ceremony when the complimentary package is beautiful and it allowed me to add my pops of color without being charged an arm and a leg! Send me a PM and I'll send you pics to my ceremony so you can see the complimentary set up! :)
