All-Inclusive Resort Wc Vs Wedding Planner

Recommended Posts

Hi all! I'm starting to plan my wedding and we're considering the Grand Velas in Puerto Vallarta. The property looks amazing and the wedding coordinator that I've worked with so far has been fairly responsive. One of the things that I'm wondering about is whether it would be worth it to hire a third-party wedding planner to work alongside the WC coordinator at the resort. Has anyone ever done this?

I have a couple reasons for this, but the main one being that I want to be able to customize my wedding with details and small touches that I'm not sure the resort could provide. I also feel like having a wedding planner is having someone "on my side", e.g. working towards my vision of my wedding vs working for the resort.

Is this a crazy idea?

Hello B2b2015

This very normal in our are the Riviera Maya, we get it a lot where we have couples choosing to get our service plus still have the wedding planner at the hotel.

Happy Planning
