Congrats to everyone! We picked our date May 16, 2015 at the Paradisus Punta Cana at the beachside gazebo. Also not 100% on the package choice yet, deciding between Aqua or Allure. Looking forward to discussing with you ladies!

Congrats to all and happy planning!! I'm in the middle stages of planning our wedding which will be on Oct. 11, 2014 at the Beach Side Gazebo and have chosen the pool terrace for the reception.  We chose the Allure package based on the suggestions from our wedding planner due to the number of guests possibly attending.

 

Everything is going soooo smoothly (thank you Theresa if you are reading this!!) BUT, I have 6 bridesmaids and are trying to figure out their make-up hair situation. I saw the pricing is about 120 per BM @ the salon, which is a bit expensive. Are you girls paying for one or the other, or just paying for the whole thing?

I got married at Palma Real and did the Tailor Made package. Am happy to give input on the resort, facilities, music, photographer, etc. There is a lot to know and handle. I had 95 people at my wedding and all from out of town. It went off perfectly. Got married on the beach and reception poolside.

Anyone else dealing with Jinayda?

It's weird having to ask her then her asking the resort. But at least she's pretty quick with her responses.

 

We're going with the aqua package and requested our reception pool side.

The ceremony is at 3pm, cocktails at 4 and reception at 5.

 

They advised us to consider relocating the reception due to the pool closing at 630.

They did recommend the nova terrace which seems very nice. We definitely don't want people swimming while we're trying to eat.

Does anybody knows the salon prices for hair and makeup.  I am staying there in October for my wedding , the  wedding is off the resort but I was thinking of doing hair and makeup in their salon for me and the bridesmaid.

I had couple of brides get ready at the salon and everything turned out beautiful! The other option (I'm not sure if it's available if you are getting married off the resort but you can always ask:) is the bridal suite.  I'm not sure if you would have to pay extra for it, but worked out really great for some of my brides!
