Dreams Los Cabos- Oct. 8, 2014 Bride! (Newbie)

Hi there,

 

I am a newbie!!  I am a bride, yay!!  Our wedding will be at Dreams Los Cabos on October 8, 2014!!  I love reading posts from past brides or just people who have information.  The more I know and read the more comfortable I feel.  

 

Anyone have advice for me??

 

We picked the Ultimate Package and are still figuring out all the details....any recommendations for DIY decorations that I could bring with me to the resort?  

 

Is it worth getting a dance floor?  What about a theme night, bonfire party?  Buying/renting chair ties?  Any ideas for cute wedding favors during the reception?  What about cake flavors or looks?  Hair or make-up person that you recommend booking with?

 

Bring on all the input because I love it and it is SOOO helpful!!

Hi, that is cool, we will be flying in to Los Cabos on the 4th.    Such a small world.  I will definitely let you know about our planning and stuff, I would love to know about yours as well.  We just decided our menu, big accomplishment lol.  And still deciding on things like chair ties, private rehearsal dinners, theme nights, other decorations.  So please let me know too because I feel so dumb sometimes about this stuff.  Please feel free to email me as well if you wish, would love to stay in contact with you until our big days!!    hanna.pool@@gmail.com

Welcome!  My TA said less is more when it comes to decorations, so I was very basic.

it's crazy to think we may all be at dreams at the same time.

Hi girls!  I am an August 2014 bride at Dreams....and the only thing planned so far is the ceremony and reception site.  We also have been in contact with Rec. Archega (sp?).  I haven't picked menu out or decorations.  Hanna, I have the ultimate package too.  Which food choices did you go with?  We just can't decide!  Also, have you been in communication with with your WC?  Ours just quit!!!  I think the communication is a bit slow for now, but I"m not too worried because the wedding reviews are great!  Let's keep each other updated on planning and whatnot as our weddings are coming up soon!

I'm a 5/31/14 dreams bride, wedding is coming up soon! I have the Ultimate package too, we decided not to do too many decorations so we didn't have to bring so much. I decided on very colorful flowers instead.

 

We are getting a dance floor because it's easier to dance on, but we like the effect, you definitely don't need one otherwise.

 

We are doing a bonfire party, and it's costly but we figured it's a good way for all of our friend to meet prior to the ceremony (we are having 70 guests).

 

We aren't doing any favors, but instead a candy buffet. We got some really cute personalized candy bags.

Since less is more..,I need to figure out things for my Old Hollywood Theme Wedding. But I can't wait to get things going.

I am concerned about my black/white or black/white/silver color scheme. I pray I won't have to change the colors. Does anyone have information on the decor colors available?
