What is everyone doing for their wedding favors?

I was thinking about Mexican wedding cookies or small tequila bottles with pretty tags.

Anyone have some good ideas? Also curious about traveling with everything down there.

I am making wine charms. My family and friends who are coming love wine and hold a lot of parties through out the year. I bought organza bags, beads, wine charm rings, charms (palm tree, star fish, sea horse, mermaid, two other charms) and will put 6 in a bag. I am making 33 for under $20

I am purchasing small bottles of rum when I get to cuba and tying them with Thank you tags. I think its a nice souvenir that most people who purchase anyhow. I have a few non-drinkers and for them I will purchase coffee. I think for Mexico the tequila or wedding cookies are a great idea!

I love the Mexican wedding cookie idea! Would you get those ahead of time or once you get to Mexico?

We are trying to decide what to do as favors also. Leaning towards small tequila bottles or the salt rim favors.

The bottles of tequila from Mexico is great!

I'm headed to the Dominican Republic so I can easily print thank you tags now. I'm going to try to price small rum bottles when we arrive there. Our guests would love that. Thanks for the great idea!

I purchsed starfish bottle openers.  We are speninf a lot of money on our OOT bags and the bottle openers are cheap, light weight (which is great b/c we have to put them in our suitcase) and useful

We did an ornament - perfect for Christmas for those who celebrate, or hanging in a window. It can also be used with essential oils to add scent to the air.

@@AllieH where did you get those ornaments made? Our wedding is a bit before Christmas too and we were thinking of doing this. Maybe even going shopping in Playa del carmen when we arrive.

Has anyone bought ornaments in Playa before? Any idea of cost?
