We are also planning our wedding in Ocho Rios in 2015 but in December. We have 80 to 100 guests and the location will be the gorgeous Laughing Waters and the ceremony is possibly Prospect Chapel.  I also have no idea what favours to give my guests. I want either something they can use or something they can truly treasure, something handmade like a special Jam.......hellllpp

Hi.  We were going to go with little tins of jerk sauce, but we decided to do beach candles.  I did a google search for beach candles wedding favors and looked at the images....beautiful candles. And you can personalize them (some websites)

By the way, my Aunt just told me that Groupon now has a wedding section. Dresses, jewelry, stationary and few other things. Just an FYI

Hi Everyone!  I'm not quite a 2015 bride but almost!  Were getting Married December 2014 at Sandals Negril Jamaica.  Were super excited and still lots to plan!  Its just the  2 of us NO guest!! Any advice suggestions on anything is greatly appreciated.

Congrats!! Make sure you check out the photographers work so that you will have beautiful pictures.  I'm assuming the resort's wedding coordinator will be organizing most things so just relax and have fun!!!

good morning ladies, although I am not  a 2015 bride, I  am however a Jamaica bride(we girls gotta stick together no matter what year) lol. My wedding is June 7, 2014 at Sandals Whitehouse. we were able to do sandals, because we didn't have any children attending so it worked for us. my biggest with them was all the great inclusions that I get/got from them and I truly, truly love , love, love, did I mention I love the property.Because they also have a themed night every night, it also gives my guest lots of things to do onsite and slop party everynight on resort.Since I'm so close I'm pretty much done with everything. if anyone needs any help/ideas, let me know, i'll do all I can. for my gifts/favors I did several things.  for my pre wedding dinner, I'm giving a gift bags(custom kraft bag) inside I did double wall tumbler with custom label on it, inside tumbler I'm putting margarita pack with custom label on it. I'm giving key card holder with lanyard, a thank you card, a custom cd, and I made door hangers,one side says "please do  not disturb, we are resting for trevor and Kellie's wedding, flip side "please do not disturb we are recovering from Trevor and kellie's wedding". On the table for reception I did message in a bottle thank you's.

The candle idea sounds so  beautiful. Such a good idea and something that will last too. (well until they burn it out!) Thanks for the groupon tip too, didnt know that. Im really excited. I just want it to be so perfect and intimate and I have done loads of research on vendors. However I am stuck with who to use to capture the event in HD. Im stuck between

Hi everyone....I am planning an October 2015 wedding....still trying to decide on the resorts. Looking at Secrets and Royalton White Sands. I will be going to Jamaica June 6th to Royalton White Sands for a site visit and I am hoping to visit Secrets again for a second tour. Hopefully, I will be able to make up my mind and book a site.

Hi everyone!  My fiancé and I are going to Jamaica tomorrow to do site visits at the Riu Montego Bay and Royalton White Sands.  Fingers crossed that we love them both and can finally make a decision on where to have our wedding!!

@@Soon2beMrsJ....are you doing a site visit at the Palace (adult only) or the family RIU?  I stayed at the Riu Montego Bay last year for a girls trip.  Nice site but I didn't like where they placed the Gazebo for weddings.  The staff was great.   

Please let me know how you like the Royalton White Sands.....and if possible, take pictures and post.  There are quite a few brides on here that have chosen or are considering RWS.
