July Wedding Is It A Good Idea?

I am looking to book my wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel.  Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.  How hot does it get in July.  I am concerned with looking like a drowned rat from sweating out on the beach.  We want an outdoor ceremony and possibly outdoor reception.  Anyone else getting married in July?

Not July but June 28th next door at the Royalton. I was told to expect temps in the high 80's low 90's but have also been advised that this area has great breezes and waves are more rough than other areas, so I hope the wind will provide some relief. I think I want to have a indoor reception.

I emailed the person at the Hard Rock to see about the weather.  What type of dress are you going to wear?  I want something that I can be comfortable in that still looks "bridal" .

I'm getting married in July as well because I'm a teacher and I don't want a December wedding (too much going on between December and January with birthdays, Christmas, etc).

 

It's still early in hurricane season so the risk (from what I've been reading) is low.

I'm getting Married in July. We're having an evening ceremony and reception, hopefully it won't be as hot, and I'm praying for no rain!

July is always hot in Punta Cana, but if you schedule your ceremony at 5PM the beach breeze will be perfect!
