Palace Brides - Question On Coordinator/office

I have been working with a travel agent for group room blocks and finally got in contact by Palace Resorts. Has anyone worked with Lula Muniz from Palace Resorts? Thoughts or insight on how things worked out with her?

 

I was expecting to hear from someone in their MIA office since I read on here that you get assigned with their agents and don't work with the actual coordinatiors in Mexico until your there.

They closed down the miami office office summer of 2013, so everyone works with a coordinator who is in Mexico. You will work with a coordinator until about a few weeks before you leave, then you are assigned your onsite coordinator for when you arrive at the resort.

Lindsay is correct.  They moved their Miami office down to Cancun.

okay thanks... are they really slow on getting stuff back to you. Lula Muniz contacted me last week.  Has anyone worked with her??  I had already sent her the wedding request form and some questions.   She had called back answered some questions.  She said that later that day she was going to email/send more info and also group pricing.  Its been a week still haven't received anything.

yes they are somewhat slow to respond! My wedding is June 2014, and Elvia has been my contact so far. She is helpful and informative.... just takes awhile to hear back from her!!!!  When I booked our group, I actually booked through a member (she's on this website) to get some group benefits through her membership.  Her name is Lynn Favoretto, and she could give you more info if you're interested.  But I would suggest just trying to contact Palace again to ask for the info you need   At times I have to send a reminder email (or two) to get something answered. Lula Muniz no longer works for palace resorts. She was originally my planner, but I have since been put in contact with a woman named Marisol. Neither has been particularly helpful in the planning process thus far. It seems like they don't want to help with any details/questions until within 2 months or so of the wedding.... hope you have better luck than I am!
