For those of you that brought "favors" or other fun trinkets to Tulum, did you have a problem getting it through customs at the airport? I am having a small wedding of about 30 people or less. I would like to order maracas and cascarones from Amol's and leave a basket  out with simple colorful paper fans at the ceremony (since it will be in the summer). From what I have found online, it is far cheaper to buy that stuff in the US than in Mexico I assume since it would be considered souvenirs. I don't want to get held up in customs for bringing  what could look like "sellable" items. Thoughts?
