How in the world did you pick your destination?

@@rvalenka we are going there for our honeymoon in 2 weeks! I am SO excited. One of my friends got married there last year and it was AMAZING! I can not wait. You will not be disappointed - Maroma beach is one of the top 10 beaches in the world

If we didn't have 2 kids coming to our wedding, we would be getting married there as well. But, as far as criteria we needed a family friendly resort, all-inclusive, warm weather and a beautiful beach. We started out looking into Bora Bora and ended up with the Riveria Maya lol we were all over the place - so many options! My FI's mom actually found our resort for us which is the Azul Sensatori. Also, I searched and searched on TripAdvisor for the longest time because I rely heavily on reviews.

We decided on our location a little different than everyone else. We knew we wanted destination and a "beach" location. He has two kids that we decided we would make a family vacation, have the wedding, then send the kids home - so non stop flight was a must. He wanted Hawaii but had been there many times with his ex so I said no, and I love the Caribbean. Guess who won? So looking at non stop flights we settled on Nassau. What's best about the destination is the kids said a few years ago they would love to go there!

I looked at the reviews on here and TripAdvisor...then I closely compared the wedding packages to see what would get me the biggest bang for my buck.
