Beach Palace vs Ocean Coral Turquesa?

Recommended Posts

Just starting to do resort research for a destination wedding in Mexico. Beach Palace and Ocean Coral Turquesa are at the top of the list because they meet a lot of criteria I'm looking for including: good beach, pretty wedding site that offers some amount of privacy, good food with no restaurant reservations, pool with swim-up bar, and sports bar.

Can anyone who has done research on these two resorts or done site visits provide me with any info comparing their wedding packages and other differences between them? How do they compare on wedding package prices and outside vendor fees?

Beach Palace seems more upscale with better rooms, food and beach, but is more expensive for guests, smaller and might be a little boring and have less to do. Ocean Coral Turquesa is bigger, seems more fun, and might have more to do, but I'm not sure what the quality level is as far as resort amenities, service and food.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

@@AddyLynn - Welcome to the forums. Both hotels are fantastic, but both are in very different locations. Ocean Coral is in Puerto Morelos along a pretty beach with a few other hotels along the way. The Beach Palace is right in the middle of the hotel zone of Cancun the prettiest colour of water and is great for people who like to get out of the hotel to do other things during the vacation, shopping, restaurants, and excursions etc. Beach Palace is at a very busy beach but the Rooftop Sky Terrace is one of the most secluded Ceremony locations in the entire area. Nobody walks through the back of your wedding in their speedo's to be caught in your photographers photos !
