St. Thomas Wedding 2014

Hi......I'm a newbie, has anyone gotten married in St. Thomas???? if so where???. Thinking about the Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort BUT with another planner in St. Thomas not the hotel one they are too expensive. .. Any tips and ideas are appreciated!!!!

Hi!  I'm getting married in STT (7.11.14) on Lindquist Beach.  I'm using Island Bliss Weddings as my planner.  Now trying to decide if I want to have a reception or not.  What are you doing after the ceremony?

Congrats ladies, St.Thomas is beautiful...but too pricey for my budget. Definitely a honeymoon spot.

laronza Congratulations! Please let me know what you decide. I'm planning a destination wedding in June 2015, I'm thinking of doing a small reception before we board the cruise ship with something lite. I think I saw where you can have a cheese, veggie, fruit tray, drinks for a reasonable price. Not really trying to do a lot since we are going to have a nice reception when we get back home.

 

I thought the same about the price, when my sister got married and her wedding was over $20,000 +

Pricing the destination wedding to include a cruise for 5 is under $10,000.

I got engaged in St. Thomas.  It is such a beautiful place and will make a wonderful wedding destination.
