Royalton Punta Cana 2014

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

So i've promised my fiancée that I'll do everything I can to remove any stress possible from planning our wedding, and as such, I've been lurking around these forums for the past week soaking up as much information as I can.

We've finally decided on the 'new' Royalton Punta Cana Resort and Casino, but are planning on having our reception at Jellyfish.

We are really excited about this, but are having trouble finding proper contact information for the wedding planner for the royalton resorts. The email on their site bounced back to me.

Would love to hear from any of you who have booked your dates at the Royalton and who you've used as a contact to do so.

We'll have many guests travelling from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, some from Toronto and some from Asia.

Would you recommend we get a travel agent to make the booking easier for our guests? Or should they just book the dates and their travel on their own? I'm a bit torn, as their are prepackaged trips available for the Royalton from Toronto to Punta Cana, however when I search for packages from Calgary there are non available. Is this something an agent would help out with?

This is all very new to us so any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!

@@Soon2bMrsClark congrats ! I have found a couple of pictures of weddings on the beach on what they are calling the gazebo. My profile pic is of the gazebo during the day. I will see if I copied any of the photos I found online.

Try doing a google search for wedding royalton punta Cana 3 or 4 pictures show up. I must say that I am a little disappointed in the wrapping of the fabric if I am charged $600 for that plus a small table and two flower arrangements.

Also try tripadvisor photos

Those have to be the same pictures I've seen. On their site they said they have 3 wedding gazebos. One of which is in the garden. Trip advisor had the best pictures. We don't want to be on the beach. I'm going for the garden gazebo (if I find a picture) lol.

Hi Everyone,

I'm getting married at the Royalton Oct 25th 2014.  I have about 40 to 50 people coming.  I'm also thinking that we will do the garden wedding because we would like more privacy.  I emailed the wedding planner for pictures of the sites today - Hopefully I hear something soon :)

I hope you get the pictures I asked for them on Monday.I think it has been about a month since pro pictures were taken.

@@cottagegirl what rates did they give for that size group ? I also checked out the jellyfish restaurant which is mentioned a lot on the website but it was to expensive for my small group.

Right now our ceremony is booked on the beach, but I haven't seen pictures of the locations other than the gazebo picture on tripadvisor.
