But before I digress, I've changed my mind YET AGAIN our new wedding date (potentially) will be 7/14/14 which is a monday but now I'm trying to figure out the weather patterns for dominican republic. I don't really mind the heat but I don't want to be in the middle of a storm for the most special day of my life. Any tips on finding previous BDW brides based on their location and wedding date?

I'm hoping and praying for no hurricanes! I would rather do it early summer, but am NOT a fan of being extremely hot and sweating a lot...so thats why I chose the fall! I'm still undecided on my date! I have changed it twice in the last week!!

I'm assuming either way it's going to be HOT! GORGEOUS.....but HOT! I'm planning on having my ceremony later in the afternoon/early evening to avoid the super hot temps that could be going on! I'm reallllllly hoping it doesn't rain. I've read on other threads that at resorts with one wedding you can get lucky enough if they only have 1 wedding a day that if it rains, you can always push it back a little! Which...if it does...I'm perfectly fine waiting a bit to not get wet! I don't want my dream of being married IN THE SAND to be ruined by rain!! I'm guessing no matter what season it is, it will rain at one point all the time...seems thats usually how it works on the beach..even if for only 10 minutes!

At the end of the day, we can't control the weather so i'm going to do my best to not even worry myself about it. I know my venue has a rain plan so I'm just going to hope for the best and just enjoy our day.
