I completely understand about the budget md_ocr! It's crazy how quickly everything can add up.

I think that you'll be fine as long as you have clear expectations going into the resort! Plus who knows- you might even be pleasantly suprised!!

If you would rather stay at San Souci, you can always pay extra for horseback riding. We will be paying extra to horseback ride at Couples Swept Away. The price is not bad either.
