acosta
Hello Blue Venado planners! We are excited to announce that yes indeed, we ARE partnering with Blue Venado as preferred vendors! Del Sol Photography is very familiar with the venue and we are so pleased to be able to work with Blue Venado brides and grooms. The wedding coordinators at Blue Venado are phenomenal and each event is personalized, unique, and beautiful, the needs and desires of the couples are met and exceeded. The setting is totally private, a great bonus, it is your very own site for your big day! The beach is calm and perfect for intimate ceremonies and the palapa restaurant for receptions is "rustic chic" and can be decorated to match your style. Please see our post on Blue Venado weddings and have a look at some of these photos too.... We look forward to sharing many more Blue Venado weddings, please let us know how we can assist in your planning! Cheers! Great photos, Matt! I appreciate you writing back regarding my questions As a preferred vendor, does that mean Del Sol is recommended by BV, or you are considered the photographer for their ALL IN wedding packages? Or what does your connection to BV entail? Thanks!
Matt Adcock
Great photos, Matt! I appreciate you writing back regarding my questions As a preferred vendor, does that mean Del Sol is recommended by BV, or you are considered the photographer for their ALL IN wedding packages? Or what does your connection to BV entail? Thanks! Hi Acosta! We are working together in partnership with Blue Venado, we are their "recommended" photographer, but we are not included in the "all in" package. We are recommending Blue Venado as one of our FAVE venues too, it's a great partnership that we are very excited to be a part of! We are here to help, let us know if we can do anything for you!
acosta
More questions: DECORATIONS: Originally, I was planning my wedding in Punta Cana and loved how the off-resort venues, had so much decor, and it was all included in your decoration fee. After I just read this entire thread (even though there isn't much), I noticed a lot of the previous brides, brought their own decor. Does BV not have decorations, or you have to rent everything from an outside vendor? TRANSPORTATION: How do my guests get transported from Dreams Puerto Aventuras to BV? I am assuming BV has vendors they deal with, but does anyone have an estimated cost per guest?

I would appreciate any comments you can provide. I have a phone call wth BV today to discuss their options, so hopefully some things get solved. But personal experience, would be great! There's so little information, and photos online. Thanks again and I hope you wedding what everything you ever dreams of!
Mrsktobe
No worries, can do. there wasn't much information when I was planning my wedding at all, so one of my goals on here is to try and add that to this website and get more information out, as they are absolutely amazing there and deserve more recognition and their name out there Hopefully you talk to Sofia, she is one of the coordinators there and is fantastic!

Yes, I am supposed to speak with Sofia today. She has been so prompt with answering my e-mails, so far, which has been great! I appreciate your goals - It will definitely help future brides! Including myself. If you wouldn't mind mentioning your vendors, as well, that would be amazing! Hair/Make up DJ DEcorations Photography Videographer etc. You're my new favourite person
Mrsktobe
Del Sol has AMAZING work! I would of used them if my sister in law was not a professional photographer herself. Thumbs up to them As far as Blue Venado goes, there were an absolute dream to work with from the very beginning, very accommodating and willing to work within our vision to create our day. Daymar (before she had her baby) was great with returning emails and coordinating with my wedding coordinator of Dream Weddings, Joyce. We used Blue Venado for everything except for the late night snack and they were wonderful with letting us bring in pizza from PDC for our guests. Food is AMAZING. Our guests still can't get over how amazing the food was. I can't either. Obviously I am at work and I will try to write more later - but if you have any specific questions, please feel free to PM me OH and to answer your vendor questions: Hair/Make up - MVP Makeup & Artistry DJ - Party Planet Productions Decorations - Arte Velas, Party Planet Productions, Blue Venado and I brought my own Photography - Capture it Photography & Playa Loves Me Photography Videographer - my friends husband. I am already very thankful for what you've provided me - thank you! My question, why does everyone get a planner, and how much does this cost? I have heard a lot of positive things about Joyce, so I must look into this. I had my phone conversation this morning with BV and like the sound of most things; but was slightly disappointed with the decor availability. I guess I am just used to Punta Cana and the wedding reception locations provide decor for a flat rate (I was originally planning our wedding there). So I am thankful you supplied vendors for your decorations! I will have to ask for their catalogs for options and prices. Where did you and your guests stay for the week in Mexico? We are staying at Dreams Puerto Aventuras and they said it's about 15-20 minute ride to BV. What transportation service did you use and how much was it? Did you get ready at the resort or at BV? Just wondering how that works there as I don't think they have a bridal suite or separate space for this. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Mrsktobe
Joyce you will have to speak with personally but she was reasonable I got a planner as myself personally, I cannot handle all the vendors from up here in Canada. Joyce has a personal relationship with quite a few of them down there and can negotiate prices for you and ensure everything goes to plan. She made the wedding planner very seamless and that is saying a lot from someone who is a neurotic, Type A personality She has done quite a few weddings at BV as well and has a extremely good relationship with Sofia and everyone there. Honestly, with the décor, you don't need too much. I didn't go overboard and was so happy I didn't as the venue itself is so gorgeous. Blue Venado has options for décor and different packages, as well as you can go outside vendors like Arte Velas (candle and lighting company) or flowers. We stayed at the Bahia principe Akumal, which was a 25 minute drive away from the venue. We used Rutas Hispanics to transport our guests there. We got ready at the resort and then headed over to the Blue Venado
