hi everyone, I am new in this forum My fiance and I planning to have a beach wedding in Majestic Colonial on Dec 2014, does anyone knows the weather during December?

Congratulations on your wedding! I'm getting married on Dec. 4, 2013 at the Majestic Elegance!  With the research I've done, people say the average temperature is in the 80's, some humidity during the day and very windy in the evening. According to one website I read that December is the coolest month in the Dominican so that was one reason I chose December! Oh, and not alot of rain since it's past the rainy season.

Ladies I'm booked for Feb 28 at jellyfish and staying at ME. We took vacay/site visit last week to ME to check out resort. It was so unbearably hot and humid all the poor weddings were melting. I asked all the locals and they said jan feb high is luw 80 and very comfortable. We should all be fine.. Also zero rain!

Thanks for the re-assurance that my guests won't be dying! I have to say, I feel so creepy, but I just looked at your name and realized that I read your review that you posted on Facebook! And thank you for that as well, it was very helpful! I think I remember you mentioning something about putting something in the room to help reduce the moisture and humidity. What were you talking about, and where would I go to buy them?

The Majestic is a great choice!  The most popular times for weddings there are Jan-April, the weather is beautiful, it can get a little toasty however there is generally a nice breeze to cool things.  On your wedding day the WCs do a good job helping you through everything and as a photographer I make sure we stop often to cool down.  Happy planning!
