Question for the married girls...

How short should I alter my dress... I plan on getting married barefoot in the sand, but I want to wear heels for the reception. Ideally I'll find a heel that is about 2", but in all likelihood, it'll be more like 3". For those of you who got married barefoot, did you alter your dress to barefoot, or to your shoes, or somewhere in between? I really don't want it to be too long during the ceremony, but if its altered barefoot, will it be too short with the heels and look silly?

lol, I voted barefoot. For your ceremony and most of your pics you'll be in the sand, and for dancing,,, well who wants to dance in heels when they have those bridal slipper things you can wear and are SO much more comfortable. So that is my vote.
