Wedding in January

Hello to all of you that have gotten married in the Grand Palladium Jamaica!

I am in need of some advice!!

We are getting married in January of 2014. We visited the property a couple of weeks ago and spoke with Charlene (the wedding coordinator). She didn't mention anything about the steel drums that can play for the wedding does anyone have contact information so I can learn more about this option. Also, we would like a private reception but is the $45 per person worth it?

When in January? We are getting married on January 11, 2014 on the beach at GP.... We have never been to the resort so we are going site unseen. We are going to have about 40 guests. The wedding coordinator that I've been speaking to is Erika or Sharlene at [email protected]. According to the website the steel band is $500 for an hour, but I haven't asked for additional details. We are undecided on a private reception, pretty pricey I think. We may do something off the resort instead. Happy planning!
