Nervous about hair/makeup and photography at GPLH

Hello!! I have just booked GPLH for July 2014 but I am a bit nervous about the photographer the hotel uses and their beauty services. Can anyone that has used either of these give me some advice - should I hire private hair/makeup and photography or were you happy with their service??

I am in the same situation. Also booked GPLH for a wedding renewal and have heard very mixed opinions about the spa! I hope someone answer here;o). Did you discover anything?
