Beach Wedding Shoes: What to look out for ...

Recommended Posts

I can not see myself in flats/ barefoot for my wedding. I wear heals/ wedges everywhere and my FI is over a foot taller than me. So I will be in wedges... I'm hoping the sand ceremony wont be to bad but i think i can manage. The reception will be on concrete so that should be fine. And when else can i drop a ton on shoes and not feel bad about it?!?

If i was taller i would probably be barefoot for the ceremony thought. The beaded things for your feet are really cute!

@@LauraM  I think it depends on your feet, honestly.  If you have narrow/nice feet, I think they can look beautiful.  I have bigger feet, so I don't think I'd look that great in them.  Helps that I haven't really found many I like haha.

Has anyone tried these?  https://www.thesolemates.com/our-products/solemates-high-heeler/  I wonder how they'd work in the sand?  I kind of want to wear heels, due to the height difference as well, and haven't found any wedges I like!  Plus I want blue glittery shoes, and I doubt that blue glitter wedges have the same wow factor as blue heels (they might look pretty tacky actually, haha).

For instance, blue glitter heels:

Blue glitter wedges:

The wedges look more like stripper shoes to me LOL

I have worn the heel covers before. But I wore them at a wedding where we had to walk through grass, they worked really well, but I don't think they would really work in the sand, you would still sink into it!

That's what I'm reading online!  Guess I'll find some cute white wedges for the ceremony, and save the heels for the reception!
