I know it's hard to see in this photo but my something blue & something old was a piece cut from my grandmother's dress and I had it sewn in the shape of a heart on the back of my dress.

Something new was my dress and something borrowed was the pearl necklace I barrowed from my cousin.

Sooooooo cute and very creative. I want to get my name (Mrs. Reese Tuff) sewn into my dress but I have no idea where to get it done.

Sorry TuffLuv- I'm not too sure if you saw my other post. I am going to get this done on a seperate peice of fabric (that way I don't have to worry about them ruining my dress) then I am having the lady who did my alterations saw it in. I know there are some booths at some of our malls that will do this sort of thing on shirts and hats...that's where I was planning on going.

You can get little stick on blue jewels and have "I Do" placed on the bottom of your shoe. I've seen these at most craft stores and it is really easy to do.

Just figured out mine! Leaving in 40 days.

Something old: My mom is going to pin to the under of my dress - it's a secret - but I think it's one of my grampy's old military pins.

Something new: My dress

Something borrowed: My Mom got married 5 years ago. I'm borrowing her headband/tiara bling.

Something Blue: My wicked awesome satin peep-toe shoes. With starfish bling. :)

Thank you. That was very helpful. I will look into this as well. I REALLY REALLY want to do this.

Love this tradition. For something borrowed my mother is letting me borrow her earrings-simple but beautiful pearl ones. Blue-ribbon on my bouquet and garter. Old-not sure yet! Might be a brooch I put in my hair. New-dress? Does that count?
