hi ladies sorry for not being on lately i got a new tablet and it wont let me log on no matter how many times i try the password reset so having to use the ancient laptop ha ha 

 

anyway i got measured up for my dress last Sunday and it was put on order Monday along with the bridesmaid dresses and my headdress excited!!!

 

we booked a band for our party back home this week so just have to decide on a first dance song so they can learn it any suggestions? i don't want anything too slow

 

we are going to book into one of the al a cartes not sure which one tho have you had much contact with resort i had an email ages ago stating that they would be in touch 3 months before to arrange things don't want to wait and miss out on things if you can get in touch now!

 

my colour is turquoise and my bridesmaids (2 of them) are having fans that we are customizing ourselves I'm going to get fans for the guests on the beach that you can personalize so will double as favors i read on her if you book one of the al a cartes they charge you for decorating the table anyone else heard this? after the meal we are just going to get drinks go to the beach do some speeches and set off some lanterns xx

Hi Vicki Oh no that's not good, I'm starting to get addictive to this site lol. Ohhh how exciting for you!! When are you getting married? How about something jamaicany ( I love making up works lol) like a ub40 song etc I emailed them a list of questions and they did come back, took about 4 weeks thou. It's because deal with the weddings that are sooner first. They have booked my restaurant & sent me over the menu to chose the meals which I don't need to submit until 2 months before the wedding. I like the colour turquoise for overseas weddings, my sister in law had that colour and it was lovely. I've been looking at fans too. Oh I've not heard that and I hope not!! Well If they do i guess it could be up to the bridesmaids & mum to at whatever bits you want on the table & you and the groom could the last ones to arrive when it's all done and thus giving you two time together. Yeah that my plan to go down to the beach with drinks & takes some photos. Fancy doing something like your lanterns but not thinking maybe sparklers?? Apparently every night at 9pm there is live music in the infinity bar so thought us & ours guest could head there. Xx

my plan seems pretty much the same as yours! great minds!!! our wedding is 12th april 4pm on the beach 

 

I ordered my fans yesterday yay going to get my invitations made i only need about 10 so dont mind paying for them the invitations for our party at home im doing myself

 

which restaurant did you pick? my mil is really fussy with food only eats really plane food so dont know weather to accomodate her or pick where we would like where did you get the menus from?

 

as for songs i dont really like ub40 we are thinking jason mraz im yours at the min

That's what I was thinking too lol. We're on the beach too I'm just about to order mine to, found some white heart shape ones. Yeah we decided to only give invites to the people are defiantly coming and some spares for late bookers. Like you I didn't mind paying more for them as not buying 100's of them. They arrive on Wednesday and posted them Friday....I know it's early but i was too excited plus my excuse that people need to know far in advanced all the information. We picked the Jamaican restaurant as we're in Jamaica. We have a fussy eaters one of the my h2b lol. but he was like if I don't like it or still hungry, I can just get other food later on in one of the restaurants lol. Yeah that's a really good song I contemplated walking down the aisle to that but h2b doesn't like it (no taste in music lol) xx

im the same with the invites only going out to people coming im prob not sending them out untill january though an figure anyone coming will have booked by then although i dont think anyone else is going to book now 

 

i dont think there is much else i can do right now except get it paid off ha ha not untill about nov when i need to do the legal stuff invitations sort the numbers for our at home party and get my underwear and shoes

I know what you mean!! Plus the only music me & Rob has in common is house & garage, unlike him I like most music and like you I want up beat songs for that happy, summer & Jamaican feel. Yeah I know what you mean.....unless there is a few lottery wins hehe Yeah I'm doing my legal stuff in December. I need to sort out my uk receptions next, but too busy planning my hen nights lol xx

well hen night now there is a dilemma ive no clue what to do dont want to go away anywhere as i feel quite a few are already paying a lot to come away with us so i couldnt ask them to pay out again

 

its hard trying to think of something to suit everybody ive got family mixed ages! work friends again mixed ages by best friends who know me the best and who cant make the wedding and my bridesmaids who are in their early 20s and just want a piss up im totally over the lets just go to town and get pissed thing (been doing that 2 long ha ha)

 

would love like a cocktail making class or murder mystery evening but my bridesmaids have said i have to leave it up to them!!

I know exactly what you mean!! So I'm going to Liverpool with one of my bridesmaids and the rest of the girls that are coming aren't coming to Jamaica and that will be the mad one. Then I'm having another one at my house, for everyone to come to (family, work colleges & friends) it's also my birthday weekend so making birthday hen do lol. Im telling everyone to bring a bottle, I'm supplying champagne, doing a couple cocktail fountains, loads of food and my bridesmaids are doing decorations, games & entertainment etc. But I'm also going to organise a couple surprises for everyone...may get some butlers in the buff & I'm doing a photo booth, going a bit mental with props lol Cocktail making classes are good my friend had one for hen night. You could always have two lol!! Are you going to have one in Jamaica? Us girls were talking about going to the spa for treatments & drink cocktails & just have a giggle xx

wow ur coming my neck of the woods for you hen do!! i love the idea of having a party at your house and i would love to do that however we live ina small flat that is no where near big enough and dont feel comfortable asking anyone if i could have it at thers i would live that tho 

 

how long are you going gp for? how long are u there before the wedding? xx
