Hi Ladies

 

 

I'm getting married at the grand palladium on the 20th January 1014.

 

Im having a bit of trouble with the legal documents, so far I have notarized copies of birth certificates, but the hotel emailed me saying we need our passports notarizing too, is this rite??

 

Also do you know if we need an affidavit/declaration (free to marry) because my solicitor thinks I probably will do. 

 

Im getting told different info from the hotel and Thompson......don't wana get it wrong.

 

Pleeeeeeeeease help =)

sorry ladies have been away for a week or so hope you are all well my plans are ok we are pretty much waiting for nov to come around as thats when we have to sort out the legal docs we are going to sort out invitations and we need to sort out the mens suits although my oh has still not decided 100% who he wants to ask as his best man 

 

i was supposed to be going looking at wedding shoes tomorrow but ive come down with a nasty case of bacterial tonsillitis so ive out it off for now xx

Im just sorting out stationary items at the moment, and gift bags.

 

I only went and brought another wedding dress, so not using the 1st one as totally love the 2nd one and couldnt stop think about this one.

 

Were getting the men suits about a month before as were going to buy there as its the same price as hiring them for 3 weeks. Plus Rob and his brother are are bulking up (getting there bikini body lol)

 

Im doing a Boudoir shoot in 4 weeks (so on seriouys tone up lol) its my friend who is a photgrapher and is wanting to grow her portfolio and giving to Rob as a wedding / xmas pressie not decieded which one yet lol so need to get all my bridal underwear now ...... so nervous lol

Hello ladies! Well its my last week at work and we fly out this saturday! Getting my dress boxed up on friday, feeling very excited now, been a bit strressful packing all the bits and trying to stick to weight limit, as we're away for nearly 3 weeks, we go straight onto our honeymoon from Jamaica, which i cant wait for, some us time! Been looking at the weather now and doesnt look great at all and is saying raining on our wedding day! Im hoping this will change as time gets even closer, if not, the spa area is lovely also, you cant predict the weather and cant let that spoil the day. A few guests fly out this wednesday so i've told them to give me a call and tell me what they think, i just hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did and the weather cheers up a bit as i would hate it to be raining the majority of the time for our guests but again thats out of my hands! How are you all getting on with your planning? Nic xx

Can't believe you go this sat! That has come around so fast!!! Try not to worry about the weather you wont know until the day arrives what it going to be like and even if it does rain its usually a quick shower over there...plus the Spa area looks just as beautiful! 

 

Hows the luggage allowance going? Have some of your guests offered to put some items in their cases? I'm hoping mine will or I'm screwed lol!

 

Bet you are so excited! Hope that you have an amazing time... please post up the photos for us when you get home, cant wait to hear all about it!

cant beleive how fast its all gone and when we get back it wont be long till xmas!!! mad! luggage allowence, well, we've packed, re packed, my other half gets so stressed with packing and getting weight right, its been a bit stressful lol. I have a big case, my wedding dress box and camera to carry, he has suitcase, stachel bag and a holdall, now is it me or will they count the satchell and holdall as two hand luggages, im worried he is gonna have to put satchell in bag and theres no room for that or i take the satchell as handbag and carry my dress as hand luggage and have case and he just has his holdall and case?! I have another holdall that im gonna palm off on one of his friends, just to take through anyway! I will post a review dont you worry and will try and put some pics up for you all! we're going to st.lucia straight from jamaica, cant wait to finally relax together and have some us time and just take it all in and to eat all the good food, this diet has got so boring! Wow st Lucia! ....Nice!!! You are so lucky to be going for 3 weeks! I think with Thomson you get an allowance of 1 extra bag each to carry on or 5kgs? So would have thought you would be ok, but may be worth phoning the weddings dept to see what they say. We always have the too much luggage problem every time we go away so I know it's going to happen this time lol and my partner ends up stressing telling me I'm taking to many clothes and he ends up trying to sneak things out of the suitcase! I'm really excited for you! I can't believe it has come around so fast. When we all started talking on here it seem liked everyone's wedding was so far away! And now it's your turn eeeekk! Hey Hun I can't believe your flying out this Saturday that has come round sooo quick!! Good luck with everything especially the luggage allowance!! I got a letter in my welcome pack from Thomsons saying as I'm a bride I get an extra 5kilos and that I just need to bring the letter and hand to the check in staff Can't wait to see pictures and to hear all about it and any tips & advice that you have. I hope you have a fab time, a wonderful wedding day / holiday & honeymoon and the weather is fab!! Xx

i would have thought u would be fine with the luggage i got that letter too saying i had an extra 5 kilos you just have to show the check in staff the letter 

 

my oh has finally sorted his best man/men so we can get going on what they r going to wear

 

i got a bargain with my wedding shoes last week so i only need to sort out underwear now

 

its coming round so fast i cant wait xx
