Welcome! When do you want to get married? How many guests do you want to invite?  Whats your max amount that you want guests to have to spend on travel?  These are a few of the first few questions I had to figure out in order to decide where I wanted to go.

There are soooooo many resorts to choose from, I say pick an area you want to go to, say Mexico or Hawaii, and then read some reviews on here to help you narrow it down.

If you're have a large number of guests(>40) costs do add up quickly, but in doing out the math, its still usually cheaper than having a home based wedding.

Thank you .... For the heads up .... I know I want to go to Jamaica .... I have stayed at the RIU IN MONYEGO BAY , however I have been reading reviews about other resorts in that location.... As far as guest I think about 20 might show up ... I have no idea how much I want them to spend I just know I want it to be inexpensive for them and I would like to get married in may 2014

We started off by meeting with a few travel agents to see what resorts/islands they knew about, and to see if there were any suggestions/unknown gems out there.  The first agent we spoke with told us to think about Curacao, and while we're going there, we got better deals from another agent.  They can be really helpful when you're needing some starting points, plus it also helps give you an idea of prices for the resorts and travel fees.

Thank you very much ... Actually went to a travel agent, she was very helpful ... We are considering Punta cana or jamaica .... We wanted something inexpensive for our guest... However if you dont mind me asking what are you expenses, since your going to curacao
