Anyone getting eyelash extension?!!

I am lucky because my hairdresser is going to do mine for me for very cheap! I can't wait I love them. And i don't want smudgy mascara and stuff in the water and heat!

I did this about three months before my wedding and they hurt so bad I ended up ripping out all my eyelashes. I had a horrible reaction to the glue. My recommendation is that if you are trying this out to make sure that you do this WELL in advance of your wedding so you don't have to show up to your wedding without eyelashes like I did ????

I'm gonna get some. I figure that ill get the ones that stay for a few weeks instead of peeling off. Since I'm not planning on wearing lots of makeup while relaxing on the beach, I think it will still give me eyes that pop that I want and I won't hate every picture from our wedding moon.

Oh no that's awful! Were you able to do damage control, mascara or glue falsies or anything? I didn't call the salon early enough, so I'm getting mine done 4 days before we go. I wanted to get it done sooner, but with the excitement of Christmas, I forgot about it. Fingers crossed I like them and I don't have any allergic reactions. I'll post pics if it all goes well!

I was just thinking about adding this to my list of things to do before we go. I have had my eyelashes permed before and I LOVED it. Much cheaper than extensions and lasted about a month. Don't need mascara but putting it on only enhances!!!

My mom is so against me getting them done for some reason.  She said she has heard more good than bad about them, but I want to get them done for the pictures.  Being there ten days and not having to put on mascara while in the water and sweating would be so much more convenient.  Not sure what to do :/

I say it's your wedding, do what you want! That's why I am getting them, to enhance photos, and not have to fuss with a lot of makeup on the trip, heat, swimming, etc. With all respect to Mom, it's your day and your eyes!
