I was wondering - as a newbie on US forums - what OTT bags are I've been reading some posts which mention them, but not figured that abbreviation out yet..............managed TTD though which is a great idea!!!

OTT stands for out of the town bags. Basically it is a welcome bag with the goodies you want to put in the bag to welcome your guests. Many brides include things such as first aid kit, bottle of water, candies, pain killer, OFF wipes, sunscreen, aloe, lip balm, etc, etc...

And don't worry about the OOT bag thing! That one confused me a first too...and the STD thing really threw me off when I first saw it! It still looks funny to me sometimes! lol!!
