Hello, I'm interested in a destination wedding, I've had my eyes set on Hawaii. I've been looking at Maui, and Above Heavens Gate for the service. Just looking over my options at this point. I have to keep budget in mind so I hope Hawaii isn't out of my reach.

Congratulations!!! Hawaii is a STUNNING choice We have planned quite a few weddings at really unique locations in Hawaii. Planning a wedding off of a resort does give you a bit more flexibility in really finding what YOU are looking for for your dream wedding, while making sure that your guests are comfortable in what they are paying to attend your wedding! Welcome! I have a small budget as well and I am getting married August 10, 2013 at Paradise Cove in Oahu. Originally I was looking into Maui but it would have been more expensive for my guests to fly there. What is your budget if you don't mind me asking? Are you also doing a reception or just a beach wedding and restaurant after?

Maui is definitely best! There is so much more to do and the weather is always perfect for a beach wedding!

I am getting married there in aug 2014 but on Honolulu... it would be easy of you have been there before for you to picture everything out

Not sure if you've already picked a place, but my uncle is a travel agent who knows the Director of Sales at the Maui Visitors Bureau.  He suggested getting married at Old Lahaina Luau, and then all of the guests can stay for the drinks, luau, and dinner.  From their experience, this is the best quality luau in terms of food and location.  http://www,oldlahainaluau.com

 

They also recommended an excellent hotel, good price (although I think it's still a little pricey) and right on the beach:  http://www.royallahaina.com

 

I ended up sticking with a destination beach wedding in Honolulu for this upcoming Feb 2014.  Still on the search for a beachside ceremony site, so any suggestions would be more than welcome!
