How far in advance do you have a Bridal Shower when you are having a destination wedding? Is it typically a few weeks to a month before the actual wedding?

Hi,

My mom is also throwing my bridal shower. I haven't been told, but I think it will be about 3 months before the wedding. Because it's destination, I think most things get to go out earlier.... like invitations to the wedding itself....

 

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that what's happening for me.
