Hi everyone,  I have a wedding booked for excellence riveria cancun on 5/25/13.  I have been to this resort about 3 years ago and fell in love when I was there.  It is absolutely beautiful.  Anyone have any thoughts on footwear for the ceremony in the sand?  I am worried about hemming my dress and that it will look to long for the ceremony if I take my heels off.  I will def be wearing heels for the reception.  I have thought about wedges too.  Hope everyones planning is going well!

Congrats MeganH ! and welcome to our forum community :) I think wedges are a great solution......and will be ok to walk on the sand with, while giving you the same height as your heels that you're wearing at the reception - brilliant! good thinking :)
