Photography in the Turks and Caicos...just a few thoughts.

Our daughter married this past June at the Regent Grand and I wanted to post a few thoughts.  When we were researching the wedding this website was so helpful and I wanted to   â€œpay it forward†and share what we learned.  We used Ileana Ravasio, formerly with Brilliant, but now on her own with Attimi Photography.     I believe this is her website http://attimiphotography.com     We first met Ileana at her office and immediately felt a great connect with her.  She is very personable, easy to talk to and I could tell she understood immediately that the photography portion of the wedding was very important to us.  In the end all you really have is your memories and then your photographs.  We browsed through many photos/ albums and decided after looking at the options that she is who we wanted . Honestly, we ended up choosing her and the Turks and Caicos location because we couldnâ€t give up her photography.  I just knew she would produce what we hoped for.   We gave her an extensive list of photos to take of the time before, during and after the wedding, had numerous back and forth emails especially AFTER the wedding when we were putting together our books and she always answered quickly and graciously.   We opted for a “Trash the Dress†session with her which looks like the cover of a destination wedding magazine.  I couldnâ€t believe how beautiful these turned out.

I canâ€t say enough about her professionalism especially during the wedding when she was present but not intrusive and knew when and where to be to capture the special moments.  She arrived on the wedding day exactly when she said she would with the videographer.  Around these parts they say that the “proof is in the puddingâ€.  Wow the photos were incredible, edited perfectly, presented beautifully and organized so that we could use them in the future.  We bought the rights to the photos which was easy and all handled online.  We get so many compliments every day on the portrait which hangs in our waiting room lobby….its unbelievable.  Until I saw her work I had never seen wedding photos like this before…..You wonâ€t be disappointed in Ileana and I would highly recommend her to capture your precious wedding moments.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about our experience.  I dont have time to post reviews for all the many vendors we used to pull the wedding together but they were Lynn Watts from Nila Destinations, The Regent Grand, Sail Provo and John Tsvalas at Lemon Cafe.  If you google these you will find lots of helpful information and they all seem to have Facebook pages.

HI! My fiance and I are going to The Regent Grand in May to look for our wedding. We are also checking out Grace Bay Club. However, I'm thinking I'm going to like The Regent Grand given the excellent reviews we have read. I was wondering what you thought of it for the wedding. Did your daughter get married on the beach? Is the beach big enough? I am going to check with Nila also, I assume you had a great wedding!!

Thanks so much for any feedback!

Illeanna is wonderful! She went above and beyond for us. Her photography is amazing which you can see on her website  http://attimiphotography.com/ . She is very kind and will walk you through every step. Illeanna even answered questions about resorts, dining, flowers, music and so much more. She was so patient! Thank you again illeana for all of your help!
