Destination Wedding Average Cost?

Hi everyone,

 

Just seeing if I could get some information on how much a wedding costs at the Azul Sensatori, Mayan Riviera. We are getting married April 2014 and just want some sort of ball park number. I'be been reading many reviews and not many of them have prices. 

 

Also does anyone have any tips on what to pay extra for and what not to pay extra for?

Hi,  We just made our final payment to the Azul Sensatori of $5662. We had already paid $525 in deposits.  This is for a private reception with 35 people, legal ceremony with judge, Caribe photography for 5 hours, resort DJ for reception, small wedding cake, gazebo set-up with sheers and flowers.

 

Keep in mind this amount was paid on top of our hotel and flights.

Hi. Was the $5662 total plus your flight and hotel? Im planning our wedding in April, 2014 and Im not sure the amount of guests. Thanks! Diana

Hi Seatkins22, did you use the Gold wedding package or did you select everything a la carte? I'm planning for June 2014 and think we'll have 30-40 guests. Many thanks for the info. Jenny

We did the Pearl Package.  That was what the WC in Miami suggested.

Hi Seatkins, my Wedding Planner suggested that for me but I was leaning towards the Silver package. It seems to be a better deal to take the Pearl package and add on photography, DJ and decorations. Really appreciate this. Thanks again.

Hello! I am also planning a wedding for AS and haven't make a final commitment yet. Still trying to figure out all the budgets. Your budget sounds awesome!  What was the reception price that they gave you per person?
