Plan your wedding with ease! Trust me, I was bridezilla!

Hey Everyone

Just wanted to share something great with all the future brides getting married at Paradisus Palma Real or Paradisus Punta Cana!

Here's a quick story of how the vision of your dream wedding can come true easier than you could ever imagine!

Planning a wedding in another country can be a headache, especially when you have to go through US offices instead of dealing directly with the resort. This is where I started...not knowing what to do or who to contact. Emailing endless people with millions of questions. Putting deposits down to save my date and time, hoping that the money was going to the right place. Stressing that I would plan a wedding, then get there and everything would be chaos (which happened at a destination wedding I'd been too. Someone planned their whole wedding to find out when they got there that their wedding planner had quit and not passed on her file, and no one had any idea she was having a wedding. She had to re-plan the whole thing in 3 days!)

So, to avoid the catastrophes that were already forming in my head, I decided to hire a wedding planner. This took some time, it was like an interview process...until I met the most wonderful woman at a wedding show. Right off the bat we hit it off, and with her high energy and wealth of knowledge about the Dominican, I had a really good feeling she was the one.

But I didn't hire her right away. I stopped shopping because my fiance didn't want to spent the extra money. So we attempted to do it ourselves. I sent emails, made phone calls and put deposits down to hold my date, all while dealing with someone in a Miami office.

I had exchanged emails with this woman as she was kind enough to give me some free guidance when she saw how stressed I was talking to her about planning a destination wedding. When I had finally booked my date and time and sent a deposit in, I emailed her to thank her for her help and advice. It was at this moment everything changed.

She asked me what the resort had sent me in regards to confirmations, paperwork and choosing a venue for the wedding. At this time, I had received nothing. Right then and there she explained all the things the resort should have sent me and why I was already on the brink of disaster in just my first step. If it wasn't for this conversation with her, I could have not had anything I wanted, including my beach wedding, because they didn't send me any paperwork to lock in my venue.

I knew this wasn't heading in the right direction. And I didn't think she was just trying to reel me in on a deal because at this point she had nothing invested with me, so why would she care? So after an intense discussion with the future hubby, he agreed he didn't want to see his future wife turn into bridezilla and that if a planner was going to help, then to hire her. And that's exactly what I did.

Ladies, let me tell you....from the second I hired her, planning this wedding has been the easiest thing I've ever done. I have not had to worry about a thing, She is so fantastic. She's been planning weddings at these two particular resorts for over 6 years. She has made the wedding packages at these resorts and knows them inside out. Her goal is to save you money, as she has no financial affiliation with the resort, so she's not trying to up sell you for commission. You pay her, and she's yours for however long you need her.

She has been a dream come true, and with my wedding coming up in November, it's almost all planned. The only thing I've had to do was invitations, dress shopping and booking my trip (which she also helped with by referring me to a great travel agent).

So, for all of you who are trying to plan a destination wedding and are having trouble or are stressed out, believe me, every single cent this woman charges is worth it. And her price spread out over a years time is fair and reasonable.

If you have any questions or are interested in hiring her, feel free to contact me. I am not working for her or trying to promote her for any reason other than I know how stressful this can be and if I can help anyone else, then I will. TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. She's saved me tons of money already!

Good luck ladies!
