Getting married at tHe Hard Rock Cancun

Recommended Posts

I haven't booked my wedding yet but I was wondering if there was a max amount of weddings they do a day. I don't want to be walking around with 20 other brides.
They do 3 weddings a day, 12, 2, and 4

Hi ladies!

All booked up for May 31, 2014 @ Hard Rock Cancun!  So I've been looking at the different packages and so forth, but keep finding all the reception extras really high! $300 additional per table? I wonder if they will include tables if you qualify for the the free private functions through the # of nights booked? Additionally is it true we will not know the reception location till we arrive?  So I found this great outside vendor Deco Cancun (attached the PDF w/ pricing)  but I can't really plan too much IF I don't know the reception location. Anyhow, we are very excited and Christina, wedding coordinator assigned to us in Miami has been really nice. The only problem is if I don't ask, she doesn't tell. I wish she would include ALL the detailed PDF's so I can sort through it.

We also plan to use Del Sol for photography!!!!  Oh I can't wait :)

We are booked for May 3, 2014 at 4pm! They do have multiple weddings. I was told 4 pm was the latest but at one point I was offered 6 but they are only on even times. I'm so excited! Had my first call with Janessa in the Miami office. She was so sweet and answered any questions I had! Happy Planning ladies!

Hello my fellow HR Brides! Our wedding is booked for Feb.7th, 2014 @ 4pm We also have Christina as our WC and so far she seems really easy to deal with. I've asked probably a million questions and she's been really quick to respond. We are doing the complimentary ceremony and adding a few extra decor pcs plus a harpist. I found the Colin Cowie Collections (as beautiful as they are) totally NOT worth the extra money. (Considering its just decor and the ceremony is only 30 mins long) For the reception, I want it held on the beach with some lounge furniture. One of the reasons we chose to do a DW is because of the simplicity. We are bringing our photographer and because he and his wife are staying at the hotel there is no additional charge. I leave a TON of info and PDFs that Christina sent to me so if you have any questions just give me a shout, I'd be happy to help. I'd love to see photos if anyone's been married there recently. :D

Hi Brides,

I have booked my honeymoon for January 2014 and we will be staying at the HRH Cancun for part of the trip. Any advise from past brides or those of you who have stayed here? Any must do activities, spa treatments, restaurants etc?

Thanks,

K

Welcome! I have Janessa but she seems to very sweet too! I'm also doing the complimentary wedding and adding a few items. Im not completely thrilled with the outside buffet options Janessa provided but I am excited for a cake tasting once we arrive to the resort. I'm debating the outside and indoor receptions. Look forward to planning with you ladies!
