I just got back from my wedding at Moon Dance Cliffs and can't say enough about it!  

 

First, Kerry is amazing.  She's a one woman show and gets.it.done.  I really don't know how she keeps it all straight.

We had 50 people and had the resort to itself.  We had babies, friends, old people.  EVERYONE had a great time.  The food was amazing and the place was beautiful.  The staff, by far, made the experience top notch.

 

Stacey Clarke was our photographer and omg is she amazing.  I absolutely LOVE her.  She's fun to work with and her style is awesome.  She's really really amazing.

 

We used EMC for our videographer.  They were super fun.  We haven't gotten our video yet but I really liked working with them.

 

We used Sound Illusions as the DJ and he was great!  The lighting package is well worth it.

 

We used Margaret Myrie for our cake.  We did a plain cake with rum cake as one tier and vanilla as the other.  DELISH!

 

Our flowers were by Floral Fantasy and were exactly what I asked for.

 

I had my hair and makeup onsite and it was fine.  I wasn't too focused on it but I think I looked pretty.  

 

We brought 3 and a half suitcases of decorations and Kerry took over and made my image a reality.  AMAZING!

 

Our butler Titanya was so so so awesome.  I loved her.  She really is a wonderful person.

 

We used MDC transportation for everyone and took care of it since we were doing the all inclusive package.

 

The Chicago office was also great.  

 

The staff couldn't have been more awesome.  My inlaws and parents are already planning a family reunion for next year.  

 

Please let me know if you have any questions about particulars.  I'm not very good at writing reviews (in fact, I NEVER do) but this really blew me away. I have no regrets and would have done it exactly the same if I were to do it all over again.  I think EVERYONE should get married there.  It was a wedding to remember and ALL of our guests agreed!

I just got back last night from my wedding at Moon Dance Cliffs and I can’t say enough about the experience!  It was really memorable for us and our guests!

 

We had 50 guests (ages 11 months to 65 years old) and everyone had a blast.

 

Kerry is a god send.  She gets.it.done.  She is really on top of everything and absolutely amazing.

 

Photographer – Stacey Clarke was our photographer.  I love her.  She was so much fun to work with and we loved her style.  We did an engagement shoot with her a few months ago and she’s so quick with her turn around and so personable and professional.  She did a great job with our crazy guests and came back the next day for our trash the dress session.  We totally love love love her!

 

Videographer – EMC – great team!  Super fun.  Haven’t seen the video yet but great guys!

 

DJ – Sound Illusions – we did the lighting package too and they hit all the songs we wanted and kept everyone on the dance floor.  Great job.

 

Flowers – Floral Fantasy – they did everything I asked for.  Amazing.

 

Cake – Margaret Myrie – great job!  She did a plain cake for us.  One tier was a traditional black cake and the other was vanilla.  Both were super delish!

 

The staff made the weekend.  They all went above and beyond.  

 

Our butler, Titanya, deserves her own shout out because I just loved her.  She was super on top of everything and so personable and professional and I just adore her!

 

I had my hair and makeup done onsite.  I didn’t care too much (pretty low maintenance) but I think I looked pretty.  It wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but at the end of the day, my now husband says I was very pretty so I guess she knew what she was doing!  J

 

We provided transportation for everyone since we did the all inclusive package and the rides went off without a hitch.

 

I don’t write reviews… ever.  But I can’t say enough about these guys!  If I had to do it all over again, I would not change a thing!  If you have any specific questions, please feel free to message me!!

Congrats and it sounds like you truly had an amazing time.  I would love to see pics of your hair/makeup and flowers, well love to see pics of your wedding...LOL.  I'm getting married at Moon Dance Villas next year so I'm excited to know everything.

I've tentatively booked May 31, 2014 for my wedding at MDV! So excited! For other MDV brides, I'm wondering what your thoughts are about the all inclusive option. How good is the food? Is it worth the $125/night? also, does anyone have the menu and prices for the restaurants on the resort if you don't go with the all inclusive option?

Are you booked at the cliffs or villas?  The villas is different as there are no restaurants as your food is cooked by Chefs based on what you feel like eating that day where as the cliffs is a set menu.

Congrats BTW, from what I hear MDV and MDC are both amazing.  Are you buying out the entire resort or villas?

I've read nothing but great things regarding the Cliffs and the Villas they are one of Jamaica's top boutique resorts and I believe like top 5 in Tripadvisor. Are you leaning towards pay as you go and your guests pay their own meals for a cheaper accomodation price, or are you paying for their meals.  If I'm not mistaken the menu is on the site with prices.

Hi CoER! I am getting married next June 2014 on the cliffs. Congratulations! I was also unsure when deciding between all inclusive and the European plan. I decided that it was worth it to do the all inclusive but I asked Kim for a copy of the menus before I decided. Everything is fairly priced and people rave about the food in reviews. I have never been myself but a friend of mine has and said the food was excellent. I am on vacation and don't have my laptop with me right now but can send you the menus Kim sent me- I have them saved. Or you can email her and request them! Let me know if you would like me to send them when I get back from my trip this weekend.
