Hello!

 

I am trying to plan my destination wedding but don't know where to start! I have been reading thread upon thread and blog upon blog about how much a DW might cost. I am reading numbers like total wedding cost being 10,000 (which is where I'd like to be...between 10 and 20, no more!) but as I am doing my own research through companies and looking at resort websites I'm getting numbers like 800 dollars PER PERSON for just the reception...so food and alcohol. Do I plan through a TraVel company, or directly with the resort? is 10 to 20 thousand a reasonable number for  about 50 guests? Please please help me. My dream is to have a beach wedding which works great for me since I cannot afford one in the city!
