I am facing a dilemma.... we are having the ceremony on the beach and want the same music for the ceremony that I do for the cocktail hour. Just worried it would be too formal and not as upbeat for the cocktail hour. We are having a DJ for the reception and dinner. Any suggestions?

I was going to have a musician, but I am picky when it comes to music, so I backed out of it. I was either thinking beachy music, or maybe just a collection of our favorite songs that wouldn't swing at the reception. Another idea, the trend of music for cocktail is jazz... you could throw in Elle Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connik Jr. and the new Amy Winehouse..

Do you know what there music is like? Heard any Demos? I know this is a little on the pricey side but I think it would be such a nice touch. I like the idea of beachy music and jazz.... But this may sound like a dumb question but how do you play it? Does the Dj go on the beach with you? haha
