Hair & Make Up Trial, and after wedding photoshoot prep. how do you organise that?

Hi All, 

 

Just wonder what everyone is doing for their make up trial?

 

I really love one of the hair and make up artist locally, unfortunately I cant "ship" her there in our suitcase, sad.gif I'm thinking asking if she can do a trial for me, and takes tons of photo for our actual wedding date make up artist to do the same or similar, and I will seek her advice so that I can do the hari & make up myself for the formal shoot. 

 

Has anyone done anything as such? 

 

I will be in our wedding location for one day in April this year, and our wedding is not until July next year, hence I'm sure if I should do hair and make up trial early or few days before the wedding date. 

 

Also, we will take formal shoot the day after the wedding to avoid all the stress and be with our guests more, just wonder whar everyone is doing?
