Hi cbott, I would love to hear a detailed review of your wedding, pictures would be even more helpful. Im so nervous about it all but i think if someone would write about their experience, a lot of us ladies booking at now amber might feel a little better!!! so please please post all of the juicy details…and prices..im curious how you made out once it was all set and done, what are we looking at spending approx??? thank you in advance and congrats to you!!!!!!

That is awesome news about your wedding. I am looking at booking this resort for July 2014 and most of my guests will be coming from Canada. I would love to hear about what your extra costs you encountered to make this event the success it was? also, how was the photographer, videographer, location of the ceremony, reception etc.

My sister is getting married at the Now Amber on December 4th 2013.  I was just doing some research for her.  If anyone has any information, or tips about getting married there.  It would be greatly appreciated!

Glad to see this forum for brides at Now Amber and to hear success stories.  My fiance and I are also getting married there in November.  We're blending Indian and American traditions. I'm working on reception decoration and flowers.  I'm thinking of orchids for flowers and debating about whether to do colorful tablecloths or the standard white kind.  Colorful could be fun, but I don't want it to look tacky or to be way more expensive.  Mind sharing what you chose for flowers and decoration and their cost?  Thanks:)

Hello ladies, all your post have been extremely helpful and comforting at the same time. I will be getting married at Now Amber 9/20/14. I agree everything is way over priced and I will be doing a lot of things on my own. I would like to know if someone who has already hot married there how their photography person they provide was?? Also did anyone hire a DJ outside of resort?? Those have been some lingering concerns along with the concern of food. Plate vs buffet??

I just booked my May 2014 wedding at Now Amber as well and have been dealing with Fatima as my coordinator. There aren't a lot of posts about the resort and I can't find any pictures online of actual weddings. Just from reading some of these posts, makes me a little more confident that I made the right choice in venue selection. =)

 

Currenly, I booked the Eternity package (25 guests) and plan on having my ceremony in the Gazebo and my reception on the La Vista Terrace. It has a bit more privacy than the beach and pool area. Maybe some of you ladies might want to look into this area as your reception if you're concerned about privacy. =)

Hi All!

 

I know this thread hasn't been used in a couple of months. Just thought I would see if there is anyone out there is in the process of planning still, or those of you who have had your weddings if you have any tips. I had my wedding booked for the last 8 months at Dreams PV and just found out the hotel is changing ownership a month before my wedding, so we had to make the choice to switch, so now we are at Now Amber and I'm very excited!

 

Just thought I would see if there was anyone else out there planning!

I'm planning mine! I'm getting married next November and so far it's been good! The "extra costs" seem to be adding up fast, and some things are unnecessarily expensive, but I'm really excited for it!

Hi everyone! My wedding is approaching fast. We leave in 20 days! The planning seems to be going well for me, basically everything is done.
