Symbolic Ceremony...Who married you & how did you communicate what you wanted??

Getting married at NOW Sapphire July 5, 2013.  We decided to get legally married in the states right before we take off and then just do a symbolic ceremony at the resort.  Apparently the resort provides a minister.  Id like to know what your experience was with this sort of ceremony and if you were able to communicate with the Minister ahead of time to discuss what things you would like to be included.  AKA a reading or a ritual.

We too are getting legally married before our wedding in Playa.  

 

We have a friend officiating and we have outlined how we want the ceremony to go.
