reception on the beach - Ocean coral & Turquesa

Recommended Posts

Hi

me and my fiancé want to have our reception on the beach but we have some questions, has anyone else had this we were concerned with wind being an issue also we were not sure where our guests and us would be able to dance, i know at the other Ocean resort they laid a dance floor in the sand but it does not have this as an option anywhere. Did anyone have there reception on the beach or close to it at this resort

Thanks

Amanda

Welcome to the forum Amanda, and Congrats on your beach wedding in our incomparable Mayan Riviera! numerous couples have their receptions on the beach and it's no problem to dance in the sand........adds to the charm of the whole beach wedding experience, in my opinion :)

Wishing you all the best with your plans and that you have the perfect wedding you've always dreamed of.......Enjoy :)

Welcome Amanda!

I agree with Lyman, dancing at night, on the beach, with the sand between your toes is a beautiful way to send the night!  Lori just did a beautiful wedding at the Ocean Coral & Turquesa a couple of months ago!  Check out the outdoor reception here:

And the super fun Trash-the-Dress onsite:   TTD - Ocean Turquesa

Oops. Writing on my phone. Did you end up having your reception on the beach? How did it go? We had our heart set on the outdoor terrace for our reception and they told us its not available because they gave the terraces to two other couples. We are pretty upset because we have been confirmed since April and they never told is there were two other weddings that day Anyway, we are hoping the beach may work out. Was it windy or hard to hear the toasts or did it work out just fine? Thnx! Mia
