What you described is the couch to 5k program pretty much exactly.  There are a ton like it, but c25k is the original I think.  I loved my app, couldn't have done the program without it!  I should start back up again. 

 

When I was doing the program two years ago (?) I had Nicki Minaj's album Pink Friday and it was really good to run to.  I know people hate on her, but whatever, that album was a good running (ok, mostly walking and huffing and puffing) track.

ahhh me in first place yay!! i know it will be short lived as this has been a horrible week.. started off well, got to the gym twice and was supposed to continue.. however ended up thursday with severe stomach pains.. went into emergency friday, now i have an ultra sound monday :(  and for some reason despite the fact i have barely been able to eat since thursday afternoon without having an attack im somehow up like 5lbs!!! not sure what is wrong but it feels like I'm carrying a brick around in my lower abdomen

Hey ladies hope everything is going well for everyone, this thread has lost some action lately. I had my ultrasound today and everything is ok, it was a ruptured cyst that is causing me so much pain but it is starting to subside so that's good!!! Those 5lbs I gained must have been water retention cause now that's gone and I'm down almost another 2lbs! However I'm sure those two pounds are probably from my lack or appetite during all of this. Hopefully this pain will end soon so I can get back in the gym!
